Crayons From Here and There

I was recently given over six pounds of used crayons that a friend collected for me through an after-school program! Some of them have even been stripped of their paper labels, which is a real time saver for me.

A trip to Sal’s brought me all these crayons for $1.50. Emily points out that the large box on the left is like-new, so I’ll save it for now. I’ll pass on the Winnie the Pooh color-your-own jigsaw puzzle set to a local social worker. He keeps a supply of small toys handy to occupy the young children in his waiting room.

Add the one and three-quarters pounds of crayons I got at a tag sale and that’s over ten pounds I’ve collected during May! I think it’s time to start on a second batch of home-baked Rainbow Crayons.

First I’ll remove the rest of the paper labels…
