All the used crayons collected throughout May have been stripped of their labels, sorted by color, and broken into little bits. Although a tedious job, it was easy with a little help from Hulu and Netflix.
I’m all ready for the exciting part of creating recycled crayons, baking the crayon bits in molds, and I have some new ones! Let’s hope a cool morning comes soon, because the oven will be on for a loong time. This will be a much bigger batch of Rainbow Crayons than the first time.
It’s a shame not to recycle the pretty colored papers too! Any ideas?
