Ripple of the Week #30 – A Double Baby Yarn Ripple

Using only cool colors, this ripple made for pleasant crocheting spread over several hot summer days. I’m very happy with the results of my new way of creating softly blending colors, and I know I’ll use it again!

Cool Lime-Mint

11,554 stitches – 361,786 stitches donated so far this year

Remember, only the white, lime and mint are worsted weight yarns. The rest of these subtle colors were created by combining two strands of baby weight yarns.

“Your latest ripple is lovely, so soft looking, soothing colours again 🙂 If it was warm here it would have a cooling effect, but because it’s FREEZING, it makes me cold to look at it. Funny how things like the weather can affect our perception.”

    I replied:

“As August begins, I was just thinking what is often our hottest month, could be your coldest and dreariest. UGH!.”
