Ripple #59 – Sour Cherry

Someone asked if I had any blankets finished that would appeal to a four-year-old foster boy. Although a darker colored blanket containing no white might be more practical, as I imagine it being dragged everywhere a four-year-old boy might go, I think this cheerful RED! ripple will still fill the bill.

11,826 stitches – 708,944 donated so far this year

Or, maybe he would prefer the green ripple I also finished for tomorrow’s charity blanket pick-up. You’ll see it come Tuesday!

  1. I don’t know….that could be a hard decision to make for a little boy. Green? or red? I bet the red gets chosen!

  2. It´s a very, very nice blanket! And it looks very festive. I have not yet made blanket myself, but I guess it is soon to change 🙂

    • Thank you very much!
There are lots of easy (and free) crochet blanket patterns to choose from, so your first one doesn’t have to be difficult. It’ll just take a little longer than many other crochet projects is all.
Be careful, crocheting blankets can be very addictive. lol! 🙂

Ah yes – red for any child – great looking blanket. Cheery and bright for this time of year.
