French Country Cinq (Five)
12,506 stitches – 768,074 donated since Jan. 2011
I used more of a dark color, brown, in this one than I have in any of the other French Country ripples. What a difference that makes!
The first three, with only lights and mediums, seem faded in comparison, but I still think all five are pretty, each in its own way.
I have a lot of the TLC Essentials light celery yarn left, so I think I’ll feature it in the next French Country ripple I make. Hopefully it won’t take me another two and a half months to finish it!
P.S. I painted the piano corner yesterday. Yay! No more two-tone wall! Don’t you just love a pristine freshly painted wall? contented sigh. Then DH helped me move a bunch of heavy stuff, (can you say electronic piano?, lighter than the original, but still way more than I can move alone) and we managed to do it without touching the bee-u-tee-ful walls. Today I hope to paint the rest of my room. “My room”, I have to get used to saying that! lol.

It is a pretty variegated! I hope you find some, but I think it’s rather old. Got mine in a boxful of yarn I found at Sal’s.
Remember that it’s Red Heart Soft. There’s a Red Heart Super Saver “French Country” that’s blue, yellow and white.
