2012 Ripple of the Week #29 – Cool Blues

We had a few days in the 90’s last week. Yikes! Awfully early in the season for those kind of numbers; Wednesday was just the first day of summer! Hoping that crocheting with cool colors would make me feel a little cooler myself, I used only blues, six of them, and white in this ripple.

Although I can’t say it made one degree of difference, blue is my favorite color and it was fun to put two variegated yarns in a blanket, something I rarely do. It’s amazing how much impact they make on the design considering I only had one-and-a-half ounces of each!

Here you can clearly see the two variegated yarns. Cool, eh? HAha.

    • Thank You! Feel free to make one like it for yourself. 🙂

I don’t know if you could find the very same two blue variegated yarns that I used, they were deep in my scrap stash, lol, but I’m sure it would look great with whichever one(s) you were to substitute.
