2012 Ripple #42 – Mermaid

It’s a treat to design a ripple around such a richly colored variegated yarn as Caron’s Rainbow Dreams in the Jet Stream colorway.

The other yarns I used are RHSS Real Teal, Tea Leaf and some anonymous white, plus a very pretty lighter teal chenille with little flecks of red, gold and purple. I unraveled it from this $2 thrift store sweater.

What a Beautiful Blanket! Sorry to gush so, but I Love how well these colors get along with each other. . .mmmmmm, mmmm, mmm. . . and a satisfied sigh.

This is gorgeous! I am a fan of variegated yarns as it gives you a ready-made pallet of colors to add in to the project. Great job, Linda.

  4. WooHoo! Love this one! So bright and pretty! It’s right up there with Spearmint Candy Cane for me.
