2013’s 22nd Ripple – Waterlilies

I’ve been looking forward to working with Bernat Softee Baby again, having enjoyed it so much while making ‘Cloud Cover’, my first Round Baby Ripple. For this one, my fourth, I combined two 5-ounce skeins of ‘Pale Blue’ Softee with five ounces of an unknown variegated that’s almost as soft and smooth.

What a pleasure this blanket was to crochet – it nearly flew off my hook!

  1. such a striking baby blanket. I’m thinking….reds and oranges and purples….would make a gorgeous shawl for a Me. Do you have the pattern, or do you just make it up as you go along, being so clever and quick and all? 🙂
