“Oh, the horse knows the way to carry the sleigh. . .”
A horse and sleigh may not sound all that dependable for long distance mail delivery but then again, unlike the last yarn box, this one actually arrived a day early!! lol
Ann, my newest yarn fairy, and I tracked its path all the way from Oklahoma to Connecticut and the closer it got, the more excited I got!
Opening a Big Box of New Yarns always feels like Christmas to me.
Oooooh, many lovely colors and. . .
even more White!
This is good as I see some red and green in there too, the beginning of a stash for this year’s Christmas ripples.
My guess is that there’s enough yarn here for at least six blankets.
Thank you, Ann! Thank you for me and for the foster kids.
Merry Christmas Everyone!
I’d love to donate some yarn. Where should I send it?
Hi Chrissy!
WOW – just like that?! Sure, I’d love to take some excess yarn off your hands. 🙂
Thanks!!
I use acrylics in my kids’ ripples. Feel free to include scrap balls and partial skeins. I enjoy the challenge of figuring out how to use each and every bit.
Mmmmm, and worsted cottons, like Peaches & Creme, are welcome too – for my newest charity project. . . I’m going to knit washcloths to be handed out with soap and shoes to school kids in Haiti!
I’ll email you.
Hi, I would also like to donate yarn for your project…It is so kind of you to do this!
Kind of me? No, kind of YOU!! 🙂
Thank you.
I’ll pm you over in Ravelry.
