BUG Update – no photos

A few days after I wrote that post about the Glorious Bugs on our blueberry bush, I noticed that one of the caterpillars had disappeared and the remaining one’s red ‘antlers’ looked like someone had nibbled on them!

Now he’s gone too.

So much for a Cecropia plague.

Perhaps you should be looking for cocoons. Lifecycle with photos and commentary. http://www.wormspit.com/cecropia.htm

While I’m not a bug-person, I couldn’t help but be impressed with the colors on the caterpillars.

In fact, I showed my husband your pics just last night.

Can’t help but be sad we won’t be getting any more updates 😦
