#53 – The Last Blanket of 2014

A color-combo reminiscent of prep school uniforms: navy blazer with golden crested pocket, the mandatory burgundy necktie and a simple white button-down shirt.

I combined scraps of three dark blues: two solids and a pretty tweed with tiny flecks of red, yellow, light green and light blue. The burgundy is Windrush ‘Maroon’, a real oldie. – Hmmm. That one white stripe appears much yellower than the others. – I think somebody bought the wrong brand of shirt!

Thankfully, my use of several creamy white scraps isn’t that obvious in the full view photo, or in real life.
