Over the years I’ve crocheted many a blue and green ripple afghan:
2014 #33 – Coastal Chaos
2011 #27 – Little Blue Flowers
2011 #10 – Inspired by a Beach Tote
and
2011 #5 – Blue and Green Scrappy.
Aquatic
with randomly placed one and two-row stripes
made from many, many blue and green scraps, plus Caron Wintuk ‘Cornflower’ from yarn fairy Sandi of MD and three partial skeins of white, including Red Heart’s sparkling White.
very pretty … and nicely balanced “random”
Thank You!
I can see now that I should have thrown in a dark stripe early on (left end) but, yes, I did want to maintain a balance of the colors throughout.
They are all beautiful, I think aquarium is my favorite.
Thank you, Betty Lou!
It was fun digging through earlier posts to gather the collection of my old ripples.
All beautiful, my favorite is the Little Blue Flowers.
I remember photographing that one – walking around our yard looking for the best place to show it off!
