Two people in the nursing home’s Rec. Dept. are out sick so Ellen can’t get away tomorrow to go pick up the looms. We’re hoping to do it next week.
In the meantime, I’ve asked for the looms’ dimensions when folded up. Maybe they’ll fit, one piled atop the other, in the back of my car. . . Ellen’s truck doesn’t have a cap. Good to have a back-up plan in case of heavy rain, or snow.
Other weaving news –
Got a wonderful response to that ad I placed in Ravelry for 32″ reeds. Cathy of CT doesn’t have a reed to sell, but she does have some cones of wool and cotton weaving yarn that, just glad to know it’s going to get used, she’s giving to us for free! She’s even going to deliver it right to the nursing home. Woo-Whooo!
And about the Pretend Food I’m crocheting for the little girl –
Almost done with Sara Duggan’s “Cheeseburger and French Fries”.
It’s all so Cute!
Hang on. . .
Back in a minute with a snapshot, which means no cropping and no color correction, so please forgive the flaming red tomatoes, the idea for which, btw, came from Beth Doherty’s “Hamburger with the Works”.
Next I’m going to make a few Oreo cookies.
